1. Uncharted didn't have a complete bundle until long after it hit 1 million and Ratchet only had that holiday bundle.

2. NPD results don't speak for a franchise as a whole. Your opinion of what's undersold or not doesn't mean NPD results confirm anything.

3. Interesting, your reply/posting style looks awfully familiar. Reminds me of a poster that's perma-banned from the site

1. Your way of attempting to discredit me is funny.

I think you do that enough yourself. For example:

1. That source for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune bundle also puts a damper on your piece - it clearly states the bundle is limited, not to mention, it's a year after Uncharted's release (as I said).

Limited, as in as long as they last. Which like Heavenly Sword, was the best part of a year. Plus you fail again.  Read the date or get some glasses, 31st October 2007 - Some weeks before Uncharted : DF released.  Pay attention or you will look ignorant.

They confirm the games didn't sell well at all, then bundles , then ?????, then profit. This is Sony level bundling.

Much of the post is bogus (or flat out false - like your reply to pezus), but the GT5 bit is just too comical

So "bogus" you have yet to refute any of it. I'm not shocked.

f we use what posters said that was wild, why not point out "the hilarious guy" who said GT5 wouldn't pass 3.9mill in it's entirely lifetime? Also, GT5 passed 6 million long ago (far behind it's year anniversary) and has only had temporary bundles. I wonder why you often post without a clue when the data is right here on the site.

I said it struggled to top 6 million, not that it didn't. But way not to read.

Why didn't I mention the other guy, because he was closer maybe?

What is a tempory bundle anyway? A bundle that ends before the console ceases manufacturing. A bundles a bundles a bundle- as long as its official.

The Japan bundle was very limited and there are many bundles in Europe, on all the consoles. Also, look at kitler53's post ;)

Oh I see. So now you're back peddling from "GT5 wasn't bundled day 1" stance to it was, but only in Europe a lot, but in Japan the bundle was limited.

Cute. Your posting style reminds me of a guy so incredibly insecure that they'll derail an Microsoft thread to defend Sony level bundling.

Unsurprisingly you are completely incorrect again.

First off, this response was to someone called wilco, not me.

Secondly:

Halo 3/Fable 2 bundle - First rumoured April 2009 - Halo 3 sales at this point were over 8 million, Fable II over 2.6 million - we already know those games sold without bundling.

ODST & Forza 3 bundle - Came 6 months later, ODST again, 5 million+ at this time, but Forza 3 I absoloutly agree was Sony level bundling. Although as we learned from Che later on, it did 2 million sans bundles.

Halo Wars/ Halo 3 - Halo 3 we have already discussed, Halo Wars was indeed bundled in Europe, but fared well with 600K in the US sans bundle. Of course I never used Halo Wars as an example so it is redundant.
