^^^3DS had a week launch (I agree). But compare that to the launch of the DS!! The 3DS launch games are masterpieces by comparison!
And thanks to Buzzi for his statement about the 3DS's battery life. I have a smart phone. I can kill the battery in about two hours if I use the Wi-Fi, turn the brightness all the way up, play Angry Birds, and leave a bunch of apps running. Same goes for the 3DS and no doubt, the Vita. I've logged in over 20 hours of Legend of Zelda, 16 hours of Super Street Fighter, 5 hours of Resident Evil Mercenaries (turns out, I really like this game), 6 hours of Chrono Trigger, and a few other DS games since June 25 and I have NEVER had the battery die. The 3DS has a power save mode, brightness controls, 3D depth slider, and a switch to turn the wireless on and off. You can turn everything on for an optimum experience or cater the experience to your needs and get a ton more battery life.
I plan to get both, like I said, and I'm refraining from speaking badly about the PSV because it's just too early. I will say there are a lot of misconceptions about the 3DS. I expect the 3DS to do very well. It's an awesome system. It would be a damn shame if people don't gravitate to the system.
