I'm with you for the most part. Season 2 was by far the best. 3 had a great villian with Russell but the last 2 episodes were just really bland and the finale left me really dissapointed. As far as season 4, I thought it was showing really good potential until the 3rd episode. If they turn this season into some "daytime soap opera everyone lies just to create drama and story" ima be pissed. Cause your right, they are trying to take it in too many directions at once and using everyone lying for no damn reason at all to try to create more story when they just need to continue with what the hell is going on!

Marianne >>> Russell Edgington. She was much more original as a character (and being able to make poeple have sexual orgies is AWSOME!!!). Too bad they ruined her character at the end. So anticlimatic (like all of True Blood's finales actually). What bothers me about season 4 is the lack of an actual villain (so far at least)
