Thats what I mean by all 3 are close in that they are all offerind differrent things that simply can't be overlooked. Nintendo has its VERY strong franchises that generate huge sales, but lack really any new IP to speak of. Sony has a huge amount of exclusive franchises but they pretty much only cater to core audiences and their franchises for the most part don't do gangbuster numbers in sales. MS has their foot a little bit in everything from Hardcore ( Halo, Fable, Forza ) to very casual (Kinect) and see some huge hits with a few franchises but not most and generally are lacking in developing strong new core IP currently. Basically to generalize they are all close because they are all strong in some ways and weak in others. That's my point. People like to overexagerate on the internet and say things like "Sony pwns MS cause MS is going after TEH BABYZ CAZULZ." Or "MS and Sony PWNZ NINTY CUZ THEY HAZ NO GAMEZ!!!" or "MS PWNS SONY CUZ Haloz ANDZ KINECTZ SELLZ SUPER WTFBBQ NUMBERZ!!!!" When in acutallity none of the above are true. None of the 1st party's pwn each other this gen as has been proven time and time again. Actually all 3 are very strong. |
There hasn't been a non kinect retail 360 exclusive released this year, so no 360s exclusives are not strong
