I use to be a big ultima online fan back in the days on private shards with 0 NPC's now that was some serious RPG.... lol haven't played in a while though.... waiting on diablo 3 if you can call that an RPG... ( i don't)..... and have seen one called rift that looks way better than WoW when it comes to character building and PvP...... but that's my feeling..... I do like anarchy online also..... guild war 2 and SW look great too.... but to me WoW is to RPG what iPhone is to smartphones.... just the most famous.... |
Ya know I do find it funny i never saw much RP in WoW. Ever so often this level 5 would do these big stories in IronForge pretty neat ones and he would do other little fun games too. Anyways, in LOTRO i see it a lot. While I dont do the whole made up story thing I have alwasy found it fun to find a person and create our own little quest for the night. Its fun and since LOTRO is such a wonderful place to just run around and explore it seems to just scream for it. I know one evening me and this random Hobbit where looking for our horses between a few different zones. SIlly as hell, but we had a lot of fun and even a couple people got in on it and told us they found some tracks or what have you.
