I was hoping that Zipper could revive the franchise with their next installment, but that might not be for another two years or so. And who knows if they learned to go back to their roots. This sounds very inertesting and I'll be sure to keep an eye out for it. They seem like some true fans.

I don't know if they've been disabled, so maybe there are some hardcore people still playing? Those PS2 Socoms were my favrorite multiplayer of all time, still. I hope this works out, I'd be ecstatic.

Possibly, but I don't want to risk buying a PS2 and a new Socom game to find out no one is playing. I was hoping that maybe Zipper would some day introduce to a quality console Socom title. So far, not so good.
Hopefully, either these guys or Zipper gets it right in the future. (I hope BOTH!)
