You know those shots are not real life cars. It is the game. That is how the game looks. And because the lighting system is exactly the same while racing. They look like that while driving to.

I've decided that if this game doesn't win gfx awards this year, then we have an industry in denial of car games. Its more detailed and impressive than any other game visually. Its just bloody real.

Car games have it easy with graphics though, you have very few things moving on a static (and usually sparsely detailed track).
