I wouldn't be optimized for vita, though the quote in question makes it seem like monster hunter might be on 3ds down the road but that the one currently being made will be for vita. 


To this day, it still blows my mind when I see how the Sony fan has changed.  After a decade of being satisfied with the weakest hardware and having the best support, they complain about how every game isn't optimized because they're available on another, weaker console.  You didn't hear this from Xbox and Gamecube fans! 


I'm talking more about dual analog and all that fun stuff.
