| Signalstar said: Tom Sawyer was indeed a remarkable read. It was not the same type of masterpiece of Huck Finn, but it captured the magic amd pettiness of carefree childhood so wonderfully I read the book in a few sittings. Now reading the play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead by Tom Stoppard. |
Glad to see another Twain fan on the sight. I'd also recommend giving The Prince and the Pauper a go, though it's a pretty big change of pace coming off of Tom Sawyer. I've been meaning to read A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court for awhile now.
