I enjoyed it. Not sure what improvements could be made. Is this going to be comic for everyone or adult oriented? If more towards adults you could have humor in it like Archer cartoon series has. That would lively up some of the parts. Seems like a good start though with mysteries in it to keep the reader interested in what happens next.

I'm shooting for something more PG-13 in nature. There will be a few adult situations but nothing too graphic. It doesn't really fit in with the story. Humor will play a part in the series but I tried to avoid it in the first issue, as the subject material is pretty serious to start off before some of the more insane characters are introduced. Most of the humor will come from the actual situation and character him/herself, not any punchline-type stuff.

I can't wait to reveal the next character. In my opinion, he's both tragic and fucking hilarious.

That is the type of humor I prefer.  One liners, punchline, etc aren't really my style.  When I was a class clown back in my school days I would rely on situational humor the most (I still rely heavily on situational humor).  Something would happen and then I would be the first one to think of the best thing to say about the situation before anyone else could respond.  Just put the characters in awkward positions or have crap happen around them and think of a funny response to that situation.  Sounds like you are on the right track.
