Hey all. I am 23 and started seriously gaming during the PSX/N64/Saturn generation. I was thinking what was my favourite generation from the past 3 and was wondering what you guys feel was your favourite?
PSX/N64/Saturn:

Including: Not close to exaustive
Final Fantasy 7 & 8 &9 & Tactics, Xenogears, Banjo Kazooie, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Crash Bandicoot, Gran Turismo 1 & 2, Metal Gear Solid, Super Smash Bros, Pokemon, Twisted Metal, Lunar, Legend of Dragoon, Chrono Cross, Syphon Filter, Spyro, etc.
PS2/Dreamcast/Xbox/Gamecube:

Including: Not even close to exaustive
Final Fantasy 10 & 12, Gran Turismo 3 & 4, Splinter Cell Series, Ratchet & CLank Series, Jak series, Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, Shenmue Series, Halo 1 & 2, Max Payne, Grand Theft Auto 3 & Vice City & San Andreas, God of War 1 & 2, Ico, Shadow of the Colluses, Guitar Hero, Metal Gear 2 & 3, Deus Ex, etc.
PS3/Xbox 360/Wii: Not close to exaustive

Halo Series, Uncharted 1 & 2, Gears of War, Infamous, Killzone 2 & 3, Fable Series, Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire, Assassin's Creed, Orange Box, Mass Effect, Little Big Planet, Metal Gear 4, Recent Call of Duty's, etc.
Personally the PS2/Dreamcast/Xbox/Gamecube generation is my favourite as I felt developers were not trying to copy each other as much (although many such as Jak 2 tried to imitate GTA) compared to now where everyone wants to be COD. Also there were many more quality RPGs in my opinion.
Second would be the PSX/Dreamcast/N64 era as the PS1 has many of the greatest games ever.
This generation is my least favourite but there are still many incredible games that I am fortunate to have played. The focus on multiplayer has taken away from single player campaigns which I prefer. After hitting prestige 10 in MW I don't really like online anymore.
