Sister tried to drown me in a kiddie pool when we were both very young. Luckily my parents intervened. She was too young at the time to realize what she was doing.
I came down with appendicitis about two years ago. My mom (who was a nurse) said it was probably just stomach/indigestion. After 4 days with terrible side pains (mainly during the night when trying to sleep) I knew I probably had appendicitis. Went to the emergency room after talking to my mom telling me to wait one more day. It was appendicitis and I had surgery later that day (luckily it didn't burst yet).
