If my recollection is correct Immsomniac said it is aimed at select premium titles , and to me that sounds like  code for Sony firstparty and in the case of resistance 3 sony owned IP .  Other publishers like EA can do the same whether it is under Sonys banner i don't know but knowing EA 's past record, they like to control their stuff so i expect they will have their own online pass branding.

yeah its like activision can charge anything for COD and get away with it,meaning they can charge a bit higher and in more ways than other games can

for small titles,they won't cause they want to make awareness of that title whether used or new,as many people could play it.if the samll game brand explodes then they will charge for that too
