I think they just made it a better deal.  They did the same with Terraria, and made it 50% off instead of 25% as it originally was.

No, Retribution was a Daily Deal for 50%, today it was put accidentally at 75%, it has since been fixed. The same happened to Terraria when it was a Daily Deal it was 75% off, afterwards it was 50%.
