I see no reason to think that my consciousness will continue to exist after I die. I think its most likely that once I die I will cease to exist ("I" meaning the seemingly emergent "mind" if you will that arises from the mental processes within my brain). All of the atoms will then be consumed by other organism etc and move around the universe as they did before I was alive.
