The German ladies will defeat the Japanese team, no doubt. The real strong opponents wait in the semi finals. The more interesting match in the Women's WC today will be FRA vs ENG though. I think French women's football made it to the top this year. First Olympique Lyon's surprising (but deserved) champions league win against Turbine Potsdam a few weeks ago, now a convincing World Cup performance from the sexy equipe tricolore. They have to play with their 2nd goalkeeper, but this won't be a real disadvantge. In fact it will make the match more balanced and interesting, as English teams (no matter what sex) have this long tradition of playing without goalkeeper.

They deserved the loss. Terrible performance. It seems this team was simply not good enough for a 3rd world cup title in a row. And I only removed the part which could be misunderstood as an insult of gays (which wasn't my intention). The insult of Austrian football still stands and was childish, but intended. But why would you care anyway? Your Aussie team plays tomorrow against Sweden.
