To all those that complaining, you should be thanking them as that will decrease used games prices.

I didn't see a relations between EA Need For Speed (and the price declining) and past titles in the franchise (Given someone should do a detailed study of that). So I don't necessarily thanking them for anything.

However I do find it funny, that no one supported EA, but people are suppoting Sony online pass move. :P

I happily supported the EA Online Pass too.

Also, this statement you made was pretty hilarious-- "This is a bad move by Sony for customers (Business wise this is the smartest move sony has done in awhile), I typically don't resell things, but I like having the option that they are still worth the value I paid for. "

Games generally aren't collectible items (even though people collect them) and generally do not increase in value.  It's pretty ridiculous to expect anything you buy to completely retain its value.  Like cars, furniture, books, movies, and most everything else things decline in value.

One of two things will happen-- either Sony and EA and others that adopt this will see it's a bad idea and stop because people don't support or places like Gamestop will see that it's a good idea and adjust their used game prices.  In the end, there's little effect on the end user.

If it's Gamestop that sees they have to change, true, they will give you less money for a game but they'll also charge less for a game.  That money you saved will either be a bonus if you don't play online multiplayer or it won't matter because you'll pay less for the used game.
