@ryan yes, Steam is an online store, for PC games only. it has community features too, and there's no physical copies of the games, they keep tied to your account

if I'm reading that right, the Need for Speed pack is REALLY cheap, considering it includes Shift, Hot Pursuit and Shift 2 (I consider Undercover a "freebie")
