I will post a link to the Wikipedia entry, because it is just easier. There is a number of criticisms of the documentarty in the film. A decent number of elements in the movie are false. The linking of Christianity to astrology is simple bullocks. Anyhow, here is a tip for a conspiracy theory: The grander in scope the conspiracy theory is, the more likely it is to be false. Zeitgeist attempts to, under one large brush, claim Christianity is a hoax, 9/11 was an inside job, and also the banking system is a giant cabal, and ALL these elements are connected.
Anyone serious about wanting to consider Zeitgeist to be valid, needs to do research, and not swallow it as a whole. But hey, go believe whatever fiction you like, because it is convenient.
