I'm sorry for your loss
PS1 copied analogue sticks off N64

PS3 copied Wiimotes off the Wii

Vita is pretty much a more powerful version of the DSi

I think it's accepted at this stage that Sony will put 3D in their portables using the same tech as the 3DS, either as a new SKU of Vita or in the PSP3.

N64 wasn't the first system with analogue sticks
PS move was inspired by the Wii. Even Jack Tretton admitted at one point. The tech used however, was totally different and was something SONY was showing videos on youtube of for the PS2 back in 2004 around the time of the Eyetoy.
Vita is not a more powerful version of the DS. That's just wrong...
Did you know that there's a 3D solution for the PSP1? Has been for years.

Also, it's just silly to think PSV is just a slight power bumb over 3DS. Before launch, we're seeing actual gameplay of software on the Vita that's matching up stuff we were seeing on the HD twins. Games that 3DS could never render even ignoring 3D.

Without naming names, just saying that is useless. Come back with a source on analogue sticks, I refuse to respond to something so vague.

I am, however, very curious as to why you thought you could put words in my mouth and get away with it. I have not used the word slight, nor the word slightly in this thread. Honestly, are you so eager for a fight that, upon me not saying anything you disagree with, you must pretend I said something disagreable?

Well for one...

NES Max.  Doesn't help the "Nintendo didn't do it first" argument, but there might be other example.

The Balley Astrocade actually used a "Thumbstick" like device too, it was a thumbstick + Knob.

I have one.  If your hands were big enough you put the thumb on top and used it just like any regular thumbstick.  (Which i did.)
