while kinder off this topic but gaming has alot of potential to increase leaning in primary and secondary schooling, especially to attract those who aren't interested. For example, they should take elements from WOW in there addictive grind which for some, school can be an real grind and try to make the school work addictive just like the activities in wow. This comes down to Skinner box really, rewarding for actions, so if we set up school learning to be structured like call of duties unlock and challenges system with rewards after short points while leaving a small gap to continue on to get that next one making them wanting to keep doing to keep getting rewards, we could use those addictive measures to help students in reading (read to page x and get this rewards, then read to page x+5, and so on, giving sort spaces for rewards will trick the student to keep reading past what he/she initially wanted to do.
Gaming has so many elements that can improve leaning, and covering learning up in games is another area which is promising as well. There is so much potential with gaming and education that the education people have to really jump on board.
Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong
