Edit: I thought you wrote that. Wow, what a poorly written article. Sorry for reffering to you in my post.

Didn't have much of an issue, if any, with spawn camping. I've had more problems with just normal camping, and an occasional bad spawn (spawning, then the entire enemy team spawning where I did).

Your melle issue is going off your point (UC3 is like COD). Melle has always been unstable in Uncharted, and that's an issue, as you said, with P2P.  At least they fixed it by making it harder to run up and melle only.

If your point about customization was that it gave players an unfair advantage, what do you call the Boosters in UC2? You had boosters that functioned essentially in the same way (bigger clips) and were clearly overpowered (Situational Awareness).

I've haven't had any issues with FFA. I was afraid spawning was going to be a problem, but had no issues. The mode also works perfectly with the core game mechanics in my opnion. Not my favorite mode though.

Powerplays are awesome. Dunno if something like that was in CoD, but I like them. I hope BF3 implements something similar, perhaps in the form of extra vehicles. It makes what would be a one sided massacre into a funner experience.

Errr? LOLOLOLOL. Are you fucking kidding me about your point with hardcore mode? Uncharted 2 multiplayer has always been a polarizing experience. At time brilliant and fun. But most of the time full of frusturation. Uncharted 2 was more about boosters (COD), fastpaced action (COD), melles (COD), powerweapons, etc.

I've had such a consistently fun experience with UC3. Only time me and KylieDog ever raged quit was in the Chateu map (it's less open than Airstrip, so it's prone to more camping) or lag. I seriously fucking love the changes. To me, the game became a little bit more like Battlefield rather than CoD. More slow pased, more tactical, and more team (buddy) oriented.
