Just ban the performing of this on anyone too young to consent to the surgery (ie under 18) and then it turns into pretty much a non issue. If these women have the money to spend and value it enough then it's a free world.
As for wether it looks attractive, I agree that almost all guys do not care about how a vagina looks anywhere near as much as these women must care to spend $5k and experience a lot of pain.
