All of you posters that think china is going to have an impact on gamings sales are not thinking straight, china is a poor country. In the Chinese capitol the average income is $4512 as of the end of 2006. This is in their major city. As you start to leave the major cities the average income is insanely low. While the top tier income in Beijing is 12,500 on average.

True it is a poor country, but a lot of people still find chance to play WoW, so they can obviously afford some things, launching the Wii for around 720 Yuan would probably be a success

I don't think Nintendo can launch the wii for such a low price in the near future, maybe at the end of the wii's life or 1 year into the next gen.  But sales 5 years out are so hard to predict, but if they do go to china they should market it as the Super power china box and have the chinese flag on the side,  It would sell alot better.
