That's why many games end up feeling pointless and like a waste of time. It's as if most Japanese developers don't know why people liked their games in the first place or they forgot to refine systems that worked and now they feel archaic. There's also a sick obsession with doing something new just for the sake of it. It doesn't work? Well, that's not important. It's new, that's what counts. Wrong. There's a reason why certain series survived years or even decades despite making no significant changes to the original formula. People like to get what they expect, it's that simple. Most of the disappointment with Japanese games comes from the fact that the games aren't what they used to be. |
They are fucosing on the boring part because is the cheapest part, thats what pisses me off, and is why i get hell mad when i think about FFXIII, removing towns just to make the game as cheap as posible i hope they rott
