Balthier from FF12, I honestly couldnt think of any other character to be even close
maybe Zack Fair from crisis core or Raziel from Soul Reaver, but they are distant seconds
Of if he was not a book, Wiess from Nier would be a close competitor, I would so totally go for him.
But still Balthier over all these
