the point that people generally make is that games like the ones you mentioned uncharted, rage etc either play better without motion controls or that most people would rather not bother to use the motion controls anyway

Was going to say about the same thing. Its not that it doesnt work in the proper sense of the word, its just that most of the time its more efficient to use the physical controller. Motion control rarely add something to the traditional gameplay, often call core title. Now, it opens up to lots of new gameplay, thats great. No need to justify this technology for everything

You guys are crazy,   ok let say   uncharted , rage.. etc  work better with out motion controls... now  what proof do you have of this?  Do you understand why I made this topic.  If these devs  dont use motion controls for these type of games how do we know if it works or not.      Keep in mind,   back in the old days on the NES, SUPER NES, SUGA, and  the playstation you could  only use the  d-pad for games. Then when analog sticks came out ,  I remember ppl started bitchin about how they didn't want to lose  the d-pad  saying  analog sticks are  dumb and it dont work right, and it was to loose and hard to controls your character and camera at the sametime.   But  now look at what analog  sticks did for gaming.

Im just saying sometime we have to move on and stop thinking stuff dont work b4 you even try it yourself,  becasue you  "rather not bother to use motion". There are to many devs out there that thinks just like you, im not saying get rid of normal controls, Im saying  use both motion and normal for all games and let the ppl pick if they like it or not.   I'm not talking about 5 of your friends that dont like motion control Im talkin about the world.
