Well who knows a lot can change in ten years, it is not unbeleaveble that we probably can buy tv's with services as Onlive included (in ten years) and that we can download games from a store or even stream it all we then basically need is probably an Apple Controller and account and then you can play everywhere....Going to your grandparents don't need to take a console with you because they probably will have an tv like that aswell..Just log in and play your games..

Console gaming can be a lot smaller in ten years from now.

You fail to realize that console gaming has evolved and will continue to evolve. Having downloadable games and cloud saves is just the first step. The PS3, 360 and Wii(to a lesser extent) are all very good multimedia devices and the Wii U seems to greatly improve upon that. Sony is already pushing for further handheld to system integration with the PS Vita and PS3 and I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo pushes it as well with 3DS and Wii U. I do not have a clue what MS will do, but they certainly can help keep Apple from rising as well.

Not really, you are saying it yourself they are becoming multimedia devices some call it not simple consoles anymore..
