Does this mean my father loves war? Is he going to go out and join the army so he can be part of the action? Not at all. My dad does not get war. He respects the men that have fought for good cause, but he does not wish new wars to start. He has interest in the thought process and actions taken on the battlefield. He just loves seeing though the eyes of people in that situation. However, he himself would never even consider being in the armed forces. The three above topics each include many illegal, unjust, or inhuman thoughts and actions. Steel, shooting, stabbing, plotting, killing, and indirectly harming anyone or anything is never good, no matter the situation. Yet we understand that even though the above teach evil, and evoke excitement and pleasure from terrible situations, they are art, or history. They are not real, and they only give us a window to a world that allows us to live our crooked fantasies. The action take or viewed in movies, books, games, or pictures is not to be repeated in real life. Finally, whether we want to admit it or not, thoughts that are against the societal norm exist in each and every one of us. It is these thoughts that lead to great good, and great evil. Every piece of art is based on thoughts. My view is that all thoughts should be allowed the same right. I could go so far off topic, and continue for days, but the point is cartoon child porn has the same rights as every other art form or expression. |
