As you didn't mention Grass pure, there are a few other on the top of my mind stronger than Snivy and it's evolutions. Leavanny is probably the strongest Grass type in Gen 5. Then you've got Roserade and Torterra.
If you're going for pure grass only, Tangrowth is probably the best grass type, on sheer force alone. Coupled with some good TM's and you get a pretty darn strong grass attacker.

Well, on T.V pokemon don't actually perform to what they can
I mean, Trip's Snivy can use Leaf Tornado right from level 1 xD
