Turning a normal PC into a gaming PC is also very cheap these days (heck you can do it with a simple $100-$150 graphics card purchase). That and PC games are always cheaper, which in itself pays for the graphics card... |
i dont have my own PC. still using the family PC, to which my dad doesnt want me to add something he deems useless, so upgrading is out of the question. i will be able to buy my own laptop soon, but i want it to do somethings other than play games. im trying to decide if i buy a good laptop and just immediatly upgrade the Graphics card, or build one. however i dont really have experience with building and i hear it can be more expensive. either way im spend over a grand. not exactly cheap...and as i said, i have never really been a big PC gamer. i buy a PC game maybe once a year. honestly, the only PC game i am looking forward to is Diablo 3 and that may show up on consoles(though i doubt it). yet, i wouldnt mind trying more PC games. always wanted to try Starcraft 2, but my PC would melt.
