Yeah, be confident and NEVER EVER be too nice. Girls will think you're a pussy, and fuck what people say girls don't like sensitive guys (but don't be an asshole either). Be a man, and by that I mean be in charge and when you ask someone out just put it out there. Not your dick, but you know don't make it sound like your asking for permission. Make it sound like you would like to go out, and if you get turned down make it look like it's no big deal (you have other shit to do anyway).
A little liquid courage goes a long way. And never tell a girl that you look like Frankenstein, because if you say that then she might see it too.
