1. Boost your confidence. You're a single man with your own place and no baggage (kids, debt). No reason for you to be single.
2. Get out of the house. Go places you don’t normally go. You need to be around new faces. The current people already have you pegged.
3. Don't be afraid of rejection. You're going to be turned down....a lot. Don't let it discourage you. Think positively.
4. Leather pants. Don’t even think about it.
5. Lower your standards. Nothing wrong with dating a girl that works as a cashier or something. It's just dating, not buying a house. You just want someone to spend time with.
6. Calm down. "Hey, I'm oldschoolfool. You want to see a movie Thursday afternoon?" That's it. After a while, you can get creative with your approach but that's all you have to say. I always put women on a pedestal but it's not that big of a deal.
7. If all else fails, become a cop.
But really, you can ignore everything I posted except this: Be confident and don’t stalk a girl for six months before asking her out. Just ask her. All she can do is say "no".
