I'm loling at how Square are apparently using outdated and obsolete fan fixes for FF8; there are far better ones out there, and FF7 has been made perfectly playable on modern OSs, too (in fact, far more playable).
They should swallow their pride and use the modern fixes for the games if they want to sell them again; unfortunately, I don't think that squeenix have the common sense to do this.
