Anyways, I'd not be so firm in your place regarding HTC, they already said they're moving away from WP7. And LG have already  burnt fingers in dealing with Microsoft (they had strategic deal with MS in past which failed) so them must be very cautious, too. Especially with utter failure of WP7 in the market as of today, they must be thinking the old hustory just repeats itself.

I missread Meego for Mango...sorry.

And rest of the stuff you said is pure specilation or just you making things up.

And LG is not satisfied with WP7 but have said nothing about abndoning the platform.
