Well Bizarre Creations was broken up after Activision wasn't happy with their performance. So PGR makes sense. However if Super Mario 3DS is delayed until 2012, that's a sequel for Super Mario Galaxy, and who knows, maybe Wii U will open with a Super Mario game again. Also, these games are all smaller then the big four I mentioned. The bigger games are still being remade. and Mario Party 9 is fall 2011. |
Which big four? Mass Effect and Bioshock aren't all that big. Especially when the 2007 list has Pokemon, World of Warcraft, Mario, Half-Life, God of War, Uncharted, Guitar Hero (at the time), Zelda, and Mario Party. Granted there is also Call of Duty, but that has been coming out every year since 2003. Now obviously more things will be announced in the next year, but I wouldn't say 2012 is unique in terms of the number of sequels coming out.
