The one's who hate Nintendo are fans of Microsoft and Sony.

The one who hate are haters (fanboy). Fans arent necessarily haters, they do have preferences and critics. When those preferences and critics are based on something tangible they are obviously not haters. Im sure you already realise this though. The problem is when the said preferences or critics doesnt reflect the reality. Exemple: "I dont like the Nintendo 3DS because there are no games announced for it" or "I dont like the Wii U because it will not have 3rd party support". But saying: "I dont like having to look at 2 screen because I find its more trouble then pressing start" doesnt show biase or hate, it simply shows preferences. Thats great if people prefer playing with 2 screens, I respect that.

That's great. The only problem is when a new idea is suggested, that a person has no interest in it (it's his taste, so who can argue) just because it was made by Nintendo.

For example, Motion Controls are called gimicky for years by people (again it's their taste, who can argue). The day it's released for other consoles (or the day they became more intelligent, which one came first who knows), the name-calling stops. Why must it take all that time? What is the problem in the first place?

I can only suppose the problem is partisanry, otherwise what can explain the phenomenon?

It's similar to a fan of one sports team over another. It doesn't matter how good the player of the opposing team is, only a select few of the of the partisans of the opposing team will appreciate it. Those are real sportsmen. The rest are pure partisans, sheep sheep.

I agree, the first part of my post explain that those individual are haters "fanboy" not fan.
