The best 1st party games, like Zelda Skyward Sword, could just leap directly to Wii U, skipping Wii, obviously not for fear of competitors, as Ninty can pwn any 3rd parties easily, but just to strengthen the future console launch. OTOH most 3rd parties should stick to Wii and Xmas release, due to large user base and strong sales season, but they'll also rush cheap Wii U ports, some more money a few months later from the same titles won't hurt.
