Well after seeing grown men act like that in Vancouver. Idunno if its the parent's fault per say. Fact is a ton of people never grow up they think crap like this is funny and acceptable. Being 15 year olds their immature as it is, but that doesn't justify their actions. If I had been you I would have done the same.

Parent's can teach their kids very well and they will still do stupid stuff. When I was thirteen or so me and my foster brother went to Canadian Tire and bought spray paint, we went home and lit matches and sprayed. Then chased each other around with flame throwers. Looking back on it that was a very stupid immature thing to do, but I was thirteen and wasn't thinking.

So these fifteen year olds just need to grow up a bit. I'm sure they will smarten up. But as Manuel said if you could have gotten a cop involved maybe it would have helped teach them a lesson. Sounds like these kids need a good hour lecture by a police officer. Nothing makes you re-think your actions like the threat of arrest and having a police officer tear into you!

O_O The bolded scares me. The underlined is an understatement (no pun intended).

Making flame throwers was fun, just really a stupid idea. A) We could have burnt each other accidently especially since we were chasing each other with them B) The cans could have exploded and taken off our hands C) We could have accidently lit something on fire D) We could have been caught and in alot of trouble.

But again we were thirteen, teenagers do stupid things they don't think about the consequences. However I think by the time I was fifteen I wouldn't have done something so stupid. Infact even at thirteen I would have never done something intentionally to hurt others. Putting those two boards on the tracks was intentional not accidental or caused by mischief they intended to derail that car.

I also used to put pennies on the tracks to see the train crush em, but that could never derail a train or injure anyone. I bet you did too Sapphi eh? It was fun crushing pennies!
