Uh, I don't know how much I would trust this, as I don't think any iteration of the PS3 has ever used 230W of power. There have been several revisions, and I believe the power consumption is down to around 100-120W.
Found this: PS3 wiki. Says the Slim typically uses 60W, and around 85W under load.
