I think the price cut will be for $50. I think Sony will try selling as many consoles as possible at a good rate before hitting the $200 mark. Think about it: a $50 cut will help increase PS3 sales for a good run, and once PS3 sales start slowing down they will cut it by $50 again to extend its sales (probably) until the PS4 comes out.
