Um not really. Just tried it. It works but had issues.

I believe the full sit down fix shown at e3 comes with the new dashboard update.

yes i bought this game last night quite amazing i played wit kinect , tried the controller ...... kinect hands down the way to go  .. but yes you can play sitting down ive tried it and it worked
