If a player joins one of the top teams and wins 5 rings with them does that make him a better leader than a player who brings a historically worse team up to the top over a few seasons and then wins four rings?

Leadership is a subjective quantity, you can't objectively measure it.


agreed. however, we can measure the number of championships a person has. the people who can consistently win championships still gets priority despite the subjectivity of leadership skill. this list is only made to measure that one single quantifiable number: rings.
