So I was playing earlier, and this happened. Video explains everything. Sorry for the shakiness and lack-of-centering... was still caught a bit off-guard.
Can't/won't watch edition: Tried an air assassination from too low onto a guard who was already onto me. The guard made his horse jump at me, and the horse hit me while I was midair. Sent me flying the opposit direction into the air at a pretty fast rate. If you look at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, you can see the distance to my waypoint increasing at an alarming 10+ meters per second.
