"Platinum Games designer, Hideki Kamiya said on Twitter that the studio is still ready to take over development work for the upcoming Devil May Cry title from Heavenly Sword creator Ninja Theory, but only if Capcom wishes them to do so.

On his personal Twitter account, Kamiya first replied to a fan's concern of Ninja Theory handling the development work of the game.
Kamiya was asked: " We, your DMC fans, ask you…PLEASE COME BACK AND FIX THIS PROBLEM!"
To this the renowned designer replied: "Ask Capcom".
When Kamiya was asked, "If Capcom came and asked you and platinum to do DMC, would Platinum management go for it?", to this he replied, " Sure. We’re ready."
