I would have figured Argentina had gone away from that policy, merely because the Falkland war was a product of the Junta, and i thought the Argentines hated the Junta...

But yeah, much as i dislike Cameron, he's right. The only way Argentina could get it is if they flooded the islands with Argentine immigrants and then flipped the votes. Which i suppose would be possible, though Britain could stop that up with restrictive immigration policy
