I know because I was uncut at birth, but around age 4 got infected and had to be circumcised. Seems most people I know ARE circumcised in my area and it's rare to find someone that isn't.

Um, what? No. The skin there is completely unnecessary. It is just prone to infection.

It's only prone to infection of you don't clean it properly, but I guess personal hygene is a tricky thing for people who live in First World countries...

I was a very young child, as I said. And I have impecable grooming habits, thank you very much. Infections are not always preventable by simple daily hygene tasks.
