Any review needs to be taken with consideration to the source/site as well as the individual reviewer.

I thought 1up was more reputable than that.

This is not to say that any given game can't be graded an "F" but in doing so, a reviewer is essentially staking his/her reputation in claiming that said game is completely broken, bordering on unplayable if not completely unplayable. If this isn't the case, then the review comes off as more of a personal rant rather than a professional evaluation.

Anyone can rant in a blog or in comments sections anonymously, but if a reviewer is banking on retaining any semblance of professional credibility, they really don't have that luxury unless the product in question is genuinely broken.
