I hope you know you are 100% wrong. Europe is but in the PC Market which is 100000 times bigger then the console market anyways.

Revised statement: America seems to be the keenest on console FPS. 

Of course that might just be an illusion from how popular that Xbox was in the US, and how many shooters it had. Both of the HD consoles seem to be going for the "just like PC gaming on your telly!" schtick this gen, so Europe might soon show she loves them as well.
