This is quite true. The number is very small, and this is precisely why the pro-circumcision crowd wants to force this on infants.

I feel liek this goes back to the whole"being extremely defensive about one's dick" thing. As I mentoined, if people cry about a console this much and try to sell it off to others in the console wars, imagine if it comes to a guy's dick. Obviously circumsion is better if the guy went through the barely reversible process of circumcision, he wouldn't want his dick to look all weird and shit if it wasn't accepted.

This could be true. Realistically though, religious people (Jews, Muslims) are the main categories of people who are pro-circumcision, and I doubt they're doing it for the reasons you mentioned.

I know plenty of secular people who have been through this, so it can't be just defense of religious belief.

Maybe. I mean it may be that way in the US, but I think it would be the religious people who'd be the most virulent opposers to banning circumcision. I can just hear Jews screaming "anti-semitism".
